A: We shoot digital exclusively. The advantages to shooting digital are clear. Unlimited images can be captured and presented to the client without additional expense involved. Photographers who shoot film MUST always consider the number of rolls that they’ve brought which results in many lost moments. Not so with digital. The quality of the images are terrific with digital as well.
A: Every event is different and thus the number of images will vary. In general, anywhere between 75-175 images per hour will be photographed depending on the photographer and the dynamics of the event, etc.
A: We cater to couples that like the flexibility of not having to commit to print and album packages in advance unless that is important to them. Today, many young couples like the idea of owning their images and printing them and doing their albums themselves, saving considerable expense and resulting in much faster turnaround time. With that being said, we are also happy to provide you with professional prints and albums at additional expense. We offer the highest quality album options in the industry.
A: We approach a couple’s wedding with a combined style of creative portraiture and photojournalism (candids). Some of us also bring elements of fashion to the photoshoot as well. We believe that this approach offers the best of both worlds and captures a broader view of the couple and their guests than one style. Our clients clearly agree.
A: We require a 50% deposit to secure our photography services for your wedding date.
A: Depending on time of year and the photographer, the images on CD or DVD will be in your hands within 2 weeks of your event.
A: We’ve found that couples and guests find table shots to be very intrusive, especially when people are eating. We use an alternate approach. We will visit the tables and photograph couples or small groups together prior to and after the serving of any food, if time permits. Guests much prefer this. Of course, if there are select tables that couples insist on having photographed, we are happy to comply.
A: Generally, no. Travel charges do apply to weddings that occur outside of our immediate service areas. This should be expected.
A: Typically, we’ll shoot from an hour prior to the wedding ceremony up through the formal dances. However, we are more than happy to shoot whatever duration you would like.
A: Generally one, but we are happy to provide a two photographer package if needed.
A: When meeting with Ari or one of his associates, he or she will consult with you on how to plan your day so as to make your day flow smoothly. Although we are not wedding coordinators, our goal is to see our couples enjoy their day and to help remove any scheduling obstacles that may create unnecessary stress. This is an added benefit to our experience.
A: When Ari started photographing wedding 10 years ago, he realized that with the changes in technology available to consumers, that expectations would change as well. We are a service oriented business, and we know that couples appreciate that we are committed to providing great images at a great value. We know that weddings are expensive and we can appreciate this fact. There is a lot of expense in paying for proofs and albums. Couples don’t want to pay for boxes full of pictures that they’ll never look at. We like working with couples who appreciate quality and value, but who are also resourceful. Couples love us because we approach their day with their needs in mind. We’re also able to turn around and get couples their images very quickly. You’ve heard stories about photographers taking 1-2 years to get the photos/albums to their couples. To us, that’s unacceptable.
A: Look at our images, our customer feedback, the enormous number of positive reviews about us online, our pricing and the fact that you own your images. The question is, why shouldn’t you? 🙂
A: We are able to meet between 10am and 7pm M-Th and 11am and 4pm on Fridays. Weekends are usually booked with events, but are occasionally available for meetings.
A: We have several photographers available to serve as primary shooters or backups in the event of emergency.
A: Absolutely. Every photographer is required to bring backup of everything in the event of technical problems.
A: Naturally, it’s preferable for us to meet you directly, however, that is not always possible. Oftentimes, we will be hired without a meeting and would happy to work with you if we’re available for your date.
A: Thanks for the complement. Sure. When shooting out of state, we do require that all expenses including travel, lodging, food and auto rental be covered.
